Abstract
This article is an experience report, of an exploratory and descriptive type, about the observations of teaching relationships carried out during the curricular internship of an academic of the Degree in Mathematics during non-face-to-face teaching in 2020, the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The elements described show how unstable this teaching time was, with positive and negative points, difficulties and challenges for both managers, teachers and students. All had to adapt to the time, space, instruments and teaching and learning actions centered on non-face-to-face activities, with contact through digital information and communication tools, mainly through Whatsapp groups exclusively for disciplinary iterations. The teaching process took place within the individual and collective limits of the context. For the academic in training, it was also a challenging moment, approaching the educational reality unknown to all and in daily construction, showing how much the teaching profession requires disaccommodation, boldness and protagonism, for effective education to happen.
