Abstract
The easiness of modern lifestyle makes us modify habits day after day. Among them, we can highlight the eating habits, which have been undergoing significant changes. One of these changes is the insertion of ultra-processed food that are rich in fat and sodium and that are getting more and more accessible to the world population. A sedentary lifestyle added to these new eating habits is increasing the number of individuals with pathologies linked to bad habits. This work proposed a workshop with the purpose of raising the awareness of university students. At the first moment, research on the diet and daily habits of these students was carried out, investigating habits such as physical activities and hours of sleep. Based on their answers, it was possible to observe some inadequate behaviors in their lifestyle and that they should be changed. As a way to raise their awareness on the subject, a lecture was presented approaching healthy habits and asking them to develop teaching materials that could raise awareness among children and adolescents from an early age about how they should behave in the search for a better quality of life.
